Teen Crush

You know that time when you are a teen and everything is confusing and you begin to have "thoughts" about different people?

Picture the scene. It's 1988, you are 13 (yeah, yeah, I'm old. I know, bite me biatches) and out comes a film that is going to become a classic.

But more importantly the film introduces you to your first girl crush.

Jessica Rabbit.

Now not only did I have the confusion that this was a girl, let us not forget (and sometimes I really do) she is a CARTOON.

Like I said, confusing times.

But she made me feel funny, and as Katy Perry put it so well "I liked it"

I defy anyone not to, ahem.................. enjoy this.

See, Is it any wonder she was my teen crush? She is stunning.

The lady herself said, "I'm not bad, I was just drawn that way"

Sigh.

Does anyone else have a crush on Jessica Rabbit?

(Be aware, the first person to point out that they weren't even born in 1988 will suffer my wrath, and tears, oh the tears)

Let me know.

  1. I was 8 in 1988 and admittedly still have a bit of a girl crush on Jessica Rabbit...I mean the big smokey eyes the nice little waist and big boobs etc just scream sexpot...poor little 8 year old me was never the same. I'm totally into men but still have a thing for hot red headed chicks!

  5. I was 12. I'd have had a crush, but she looked very similar to my best friend. Now that would have been even more confusing.

  7. The chief animator who designed her, Richard Williams also led a trad jazz combo, playing Flugelhorn.

They played at the local jazz festival about 20 years ago.

    Talented chap.
