Very Superstitious

I'm not, but hopefully you have the Stevie Wonder song in your head now and if you are walking along reading this (Mind that lamp post) you will be strutting.

Right, today is Friday the 13th. A day when most people blame everything bad that happens on the fact that it is an unlucky day.

SOME people have good reason to. They shit that has poured down upon them is enough to make some people want to mark Friday 13th off on a calendar and take a duvet day.

So if you are one of those people who hates Friday 13th because for you it has in the past been unlucky, Let me know what happened to you.

Have you been hit by a ladder as you walk under it?

Tripped on lucky clover

Or just suffered a disastrous day.

Let me know.

I will TRY not to laugh. I promise.

  1. Funny because in a lot of countries friday the 13th is a lucky day! But one thing I abide is mercury retrograde - i dont sign or make any permanent decision when mercury goes back on its orbit.

  2. I've actually had quite a lucky friday 13th before. I was handed a free goody bag in the street as a store was opening, it had some chocs and some body bits in it and a scratch card which I won £2 on. So I've always looked at friday 13th as lucky since then.

  3. I didn't even connect the dots this morning, and only realised when I saw a tweet about it!

    Hmm maybe...

  4. Anything bad that occurs today is because shit happens, not because of the date

  5. Nope, Friday the 13th has made no difference to my life in any way, shape or form, didn't even cop until earlier on when I heard people on the radio going on about it. Much like the person who mentioned Mercury - it's the bloody Full Moons that affect me, I can never sleep and I always get restless.

  6. Well, I slept through my alarm. In my haste to get ready I left the house forgetting to brush my teeth! Had to do emergency boots pit stop and made my journey to work even later. Dribbled coffee down my white top. Popped a button on my coat. Handbag fell off the train ledge onto the floor. No tampax but suppositories fell everywhere. Got lost in the office and cried at my desk all afternoon. I'd say a normal day really....
