2014 Positives

2014 has been an amazing year for me. It has been one of my happiest years of my life so far, and I feel as if I have achieved so much, not only in my personal life but professionally as well,

and now 2015 is just around the corner and I want to look back on 2014 and focus on positives.

Climbing over the top of the O2 and being sung to by Tinie Tempah, spending 36 hours with my eldest daughter experiencing some fantastic sights that will never be able to be repeated.

Visiting beautiful hotels, laughing, crying, singing and dancing. I have watching the sun rise, I have watched the sun set. I have been too warm, and freezing cold. I have cuddled my family

Life is good.

I have learnt so much about myself in 2014, I know it sounds like a cliche but I have found myself, I know who I am, and what I want, and THAT for me it what I take with me from 2014 into 2015.

I have been tested, (damn I have been tested) and you know what? I made it through.

I have lost good people in 2014, but I will take what they taught me in life with me, not just into 2015 but beyond.

That is my armour for 2015. These are my life lessons and my positives.

What positives are you taking with you from this year into the next?

I would love you to share them with me.

Let me know

  1. Well this year has been one of contrasting good and bad firtune for me. My little dog passed away earlier in the year, but I have now got a wonderful little mad cat who I adore. My relationship with my children has probably irreversibly broken down, but my relationship with my family has grown in strenght this year. I have realised people I thought were friends were false, but have been astounded by the love and support other friends have offered.
On top of it all is something that has no negitives. My wonderful fiancée. He is the first and possibly only person whom I can share the deepest, darkest corners of my heart and mind, safe in the knowledge that he loves and accepts every part of me good and bad (feel free to reach for the sick bag). And next year I am marrying him, so my positivity just increases.

  3. 2014 has been a weird one, I made the move back to Kent admitting Wales was not working out for us, we have moved back into our little house and it feels like life is getting back on track.
Positives I have amazing family and the the coolest dog, I found out by having a photoshoot that I can look good in pictures, I have had adventures, ate good food, laughed and cried. I suppose I have realised eventually you get there although it might not be all as you wanted it but it can be.

  4. I LOVED this post Kellie. 2014 has been great in many ways.... for starters, I contributed to your blog, yay!!! ;) The bad bits had made me learn, grow and become a better person. It's also been the year I moved back to the UK and I am stupidly happy about this. I live in a tiny village, surrounded by nature and I am SO grateful for this. 2014 has been a wonderful challenge, I really cannot be more grateful to life and this roller-coaster of a year.
