If you like modern and contemporary art, walks in stunning scenery and something just that little bit different, then you most definitely need to make a visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Set in 500 acres of grounds, Yorkshire Sculpture Park is very different from any other museum you will visit in terms of accessibility to everyone and the way it is set out. Many of the artists displayed feel that their art is enhanced by the weather and changing of the seasons, bringing a fresh backdrop to the sculptures with every visit.
Even if you prefer your art more traditional, there is something at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park for everyone, including breathtaking views

This weeks Nom or Vom is another Blogger Takeover, and this week it is a blogger I know personally and think is all kinds of awesome, (and my youngest daughter won't stop talking about her) so over to Toni from http://theleftofperfect.blogspot.co.uk for this weeks Nom or Vom.
First thing I do on a Friday morning?
Log on to Kellie’s Blog and see who this week’s Vom or Nom is.
I am going to keep this real simple.
I like facial hair and tattoos. I like them together. I like the on there own.
I am a bit in love with Alex Minsky.
Alex is a former US Marine who lost his lower leg in service. After been honourably discharged and swapping the drink for the gym, Alex is now a successful underwear model.
So what do you think?
Alex Minsky, Nom or Vom?

Driving a new car feels exhilarating, but it can also be boring if all you have are its standard features. It’s time to accessorise your car so that it has all the things you need, and more.
For one thing, what’s a new car if it can’t direct you to where you need to go? Some of us aren’t born navigators, and although we know the rules of the road like the back of our hand, a sat-nav device would really be a great addition to our new wheels.
Let’s take a rundown of the accessories for your new car that you shouldn’t drive without.
Satellite Navigation device
Physical maps can take our focus off the road instead of our driving, plus it could be a pain to read them anyway. The maps of old don’t have live traffic updates, don’t tell you where the nearest fast food outlet is, and they don’t tell you exactly where to turn to avoid that road construction up ahead. Let’s thank the geniuses who came up with the brilliant sat-nav devices in the market today; even the least expensive ones have all you need to lead you to your destination quickly.
Many owners of the latest car models become too excited about driving their new car around that they often forget to purchase this basic, but utterly important, car accessory. Car covers protect cars not only from paint-fading UV rays and water stains; they also protect that shiny finish from being scratched by envious neighbours, umbrella edges, and perhaps even your own belt buckle when you walk past in a tiny parking space.
What’s a new car if it’s all gunky underneath? A chassis cleaner can really be a big help in this regard, especially during the winter months when the roads are all filled with road salt, which can corrode your chassis and make it look like your car was bought in the 1970s. While you’re at it, get your car a small vacuum that can be plugged into the lighter socket, a good shampoo, and the softest buff you can find for your regular car clean-up work.
This is something you hopefully won’t need immediately, but is still good to have just in case you encounter a fellow motorist in need of help. The latest in jump starter technology features small and rechargeable jump-start boxes that can get your—or someone else’s—vehicle running if the battery decides to die in the middle of nowhere. The portable size of the jump-start kit makes it easy to fit in the glove compartment.
We all seem to rely on various USB-powered devices nowadays, and woe to the person who forgot to charge his or her smartphone or media player while on a road trip. Avoid being helpless on the road and get yourself an in-car USB 12V charger, which plugs in to the car’s cigarette lighter socket. Many in-car chargers come with two USB ports, which makes charging multiple devices faster.
Mobile phone holder
Drive smart and leave your smartphone alone. If you really, really need to take calls while driving, get a phone holder with a built-in Bluetooth connectivity that enables you to make and receive calls on the go, without losing your focus on the road ahead. This is the last, but certainly not the least recommendation as a must-have accessory for your new car. Remember to put your safety first.

I love soap, mmmmmm soap. What's not to love? I love the smell of soap, I love how soap makes you all clean, (I wonder if they can make a mind soap?) and I especially love shops that are FULL of soap.
I was walking round Leeds City Centre last week when I noticed a brand new shop had opened, The Yorkshire Soap company. I remembered reading a post by Kelly from Adventures in Tea and Cake had written about them being one of her favourite stores http://www.adventuresinteaandcake.com/2014/08/-yorkshire-soap-company-bath-truffle-leeds-store.html and if Kelly recommends a store, I look. She is my Leeds guide to all things brilliant. (I have serious love for that woman)
OH MY LORD SHE WAS SO RIGHT!!
The Yorkshire Soap Company is a-mazing. I've now visited twice. Bath truffles. Soaps, I've never smelt so clean. (Ever)
A Cherry Bakewell Soap.
(I need this fragrance in a bath truffle, come on guys, you know you want it too)
Rhubarb and Custard soap, with a CANDLE!!!!!
A box of bath truffles, my bathroom now smells DIVINE.
This is the packaging for the soap, which means that if you wish, you can give it to someone as a gift. (Personally? Nope, the soaps are all mine. If you want to give them to ME as a gift, well that's different)
All my pretty soaps and bath truffles.
If you are lucky enough to live in Leeds, The Yorkshire Soap company are on Albion St, just outside Trinity. If you live somewhere else... (Why? Leeds is amazing) they also have branches in York and Hebden Bridge. If you don't live in Yorkshire.... (Why? Yorkshire is amazing) you can check out their website here
But if you do get a chance to go and visit them. I highly recommend it as their store is beautiful. Chandeliers, very pretty displays and wonderful friendly staff.
Have you ever bought anything from The Yorkshire Soap Company?
Or are you going to?
Let me know.

I do many, many stupid things for this blog.
But this is probably the worst.
When I first saw that Walkers were bringing out new flavoured crisps I thought it was a joke, I really did think that an ex-employee had gone on a social media rampage to mess their shit up. But alas no, there are Hot Dog flavour crisps, Cheesy Beans on Toast and RANCH RACCOON flavour.
Why? I ask you, why on earth would anyone think that Ranch raccoon would make a great flavour for crisps? I still feel like an edgy hipster eating Worcester Sauce flavour crisps!!!
Now why should you eat them, when I can eat them for you?
What the hell does a Ranch Raccoon taste like? I hear you ask.
And the truth is, I can't tell you. I licked the crisp, I nibbled it, but there was a little voice in my head that said, "Spit it out tit witch" and I listened.
My 8yr old looked at the open bag of crisps and said, "Are you going to be eating those?" And when I replied in the negative, scoffed those bad boys like they were salt and vinegar and asked if I'd purchased a multi-pack.
So if you have the palate of an 8yr old girl, then by all means try the new flavours.
But personally, I like my crisps to be traditional,
How about you?
Let me know.

I do love it when a great brand that I purchase from online opens a store near me.
Last week I went along to the opening of Yours Clothing in Leeds for their grand opening of their new store in the St Johns Centre. It is definitely a good thing that Yours have chosen to open their store away from the main strip of Trinity. Leeds has some amazing shopping, (If you haven't been, I highly recommend it) and it is great to see some of the other places as well as Trinity filling their empty spaces and continuing to make Leeds a great place to shop.
The Yours store is conveniently located at the front of St Johns Centre making it easily accessible for everyone and is packed full of some really great clothing that if I saw online I wouldn't give a second glance at, but feeling the fabrics, seeing how they sit on a hanger and seeing how the clothes look on the gorgeous sales assistants really helped to empty my purse. (eeeeeeeek)
Anything you need, from a going out dress to the basic Ts, Yours has it instore and their changing rooms are glorious indeed.
Yours is two floors of shopping heaven and I am looking forward to seeing their A/W stock which should be arriving soon.
No Yours, Thank YOU.
Have you visited the new Leeds store yet? Or do you have a Yours near you? What do you think?
