What are Sundays All About for you?
I find it interesting, how so many people, from so many different walks of life fill their weekends with different things. For some, the weekends is all about the relaxation, brunch with friends, nights out on the lash, and Sunday morning baths. For others, the weekend is when they get to enjoy their hobbies, be it Volley Ball, or Vintage Fairs around the country. For parents, weekends are about spending time with the crotchfruit, or hiding from them, I won't judge. But everyones weekends are different.
So what are you up to this fine Sunday, I'd love to know what YOU are doing, are you blogging? relaxing, getting over Saturday or getting ready for Monday.
I would love to see as many different answers as I can. Sometimes it is nice to know that when you are in your PJ's at 2pm and the most strenuous thing you have done all weekend is make coffee, that you are not alone.
Me? Today is all about planning for Monday, I have school uniform to wash, (Oh the glamour of my life) I have an interview this week, (eeeeeeeeeeek) and I need to get my blog on, plus it is the Singapore Grand Prix today so I will be watching that.
What will you be doing today?
Let me know.

I always go for a run on a Sunday morning and tend to spend the day doing life admin to make myself feel more together as I go into the new week. xxx
ReplyDeleteI always like to spend some of Sunday prepping for Monday too. It's all well and good going URGH Monday, but it's a million times worse if we aren't prepared for it, isn't it? You are a SUNDAY SOLDIER. Enjoy your run.
DeleteMy Sunday is a lazy morning, lunch at a local food market, shopping for a roast dinner and then back in my pj's unti Monday fucking morning. Carmen
ReplyDeleteOooooh lunch at a food market sounds awesome, what you having?
DeleteToday - housework, laundry, writing and watching my football team on TV. Forever lamenting the speed at which weekends pass.
ReplyDeletewhy DOES Saturday and Sunday pass by so quickly but Monday and Tuesday drag?
DeleteMy usual Sunday is skeeping in till after 11am. Go into town with my mum for a wander and buying things I don't need. Before having a coffee then coming home watching say yes to the dress and having a sunday roast before putting off bed time as I don't want Monday to come round. I also try to film and edit yt videos and even blog on a weekend x
ReplyDeleteToday I was up at 8am got 2 lots o washing hung out and I'm going for afternoon tea with a couple of friends and their babies (not keen on he baby part and I'm not baby friendly (that sounds awful. I'm not awful) but the cake part won me over!)
You can get me to do anything for cake
DeleteSunday's are usually my laziest days of all. I tend to not get out of bed until after 10am, maaaybe do a bit of cleaning if I didn't do any on Saturday for about an hour, then usually watch tv shows/movies or play Xbox. I try to get all blogging stuff out of the way before the weekend so I can do my own thing without thinking about the blog! Today, however, I'm gonna get my hair cut and dyed which I am very much looking forward to, I'm gonna take my laptop too so I can design pipdig a new template. Have a wonderful Sunday kellie! xx
ReplyDeleteI am excited to see pics of new hair!!!!
DeleteHave a fantastic day too, darling and good luck with the new template design
Sundays are the only day of the weekend we get to do stuff as hubby works nights (so Saturday is a sleep day). So it starts with actually waking up with a man in bed with me ;-) cooking sunday lunch, a sunday drive, possibly a drink in a pub. Back home for the evening, cuddles and telly (Poldark).
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like the perfect Sunday. Blissful
DeleteSundays are a normal day for me. I work freelance at home and tend to work through weekends and then have my weekend during the week when everyone's at work and it's quieter :-) xx
ReplyDeleteAh yes, freelance where we go, What the HELL is a weekend? A bit like parenting.
DeleteSo far, I've spent an inordinately long period of time on the phone to Carphone fucking Warehouse. I never want to go anywhere near their shops or anything else ever again. I'm going to do a bit more house clearing, go to the dump and walk the dog. I may get fish and chips delivered later.
ReplyDeleteOh god, upgrade time? I'm having crap with mine at the moment. 'Mmmmmmm fish and chips sounds fab
DeleteMy contract phone with 3 started playing up half way through the contract and my mother (in hospital at the time before she died) panicked because she couldn't get hold of me. I had to quickly buy a Sim free phone from CW as it was on way home from the hospital, which packed up in August. It's been like pulling teeth. AND they put me on hold and played Coldplay.
DeleteBASTARDS. Coldplay? Do they hate everyone?
DeleteSo sorry for your loss as well. Hugs
Working :-(. Finished late last night and started early this morning so that's me until 6pm! Ordinarily though I'd be spending time with my husband and hamster, taking blog photos and scratching the last couple of things off my weekly to do list. X
ReplyDeleteBooooooo. But have a lovely relaxing Sunday evening if you can xxxxx
DeleteWe slept in until gone 10....I made a roast chicken dinner, blogged a bit, tried to have a soak in the bath. Watched GBBO and Doctor who and now I have to iron school shirts and hustle the kids along getting ready for school tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI do a day out with my daughter on a Saturday so my Sunday is spent similar to yours catching up on washing getting school clothes ready checking homework is done and any left over food is removed from school bag. Then once little miss is in bed I am going to try and get into the habit of reading and commenting on blogs.
ReplyDeleteFor me unless I book it off every Sunday is a work day. The joy of retail. 6 hours of noise and chaos. This week we had primary school kids in packing to raise money for a new kitchen plus a bunch of people being trained plus people that were new and only trained last Sunday. And it was busy. Unlike Saturday (overtime) which was reasonably quiet.
ReplyDeleteI love a Sunday brunch with the girls - we tend to do this once a month. The rest of the month, Sunday's are all about dog walking, batch cooking for the week, and currently - packing for work trips. I do get dressed - but only sweatpants and a t-shirts!
ReplyDeleteOh - and Sunday mornings are spent drinking coffee and reading the weeks blogs!
