Christmas Markets with La Redoute
Picture the scene, we are close to winter and you are given the opportunity to win a festive trip to a beautiful Christmas Market in Paris.
What do you wear?
Can you spend less than £100 to look warm, cozy AND stylish?
That was the question posed by La Redoute.
Do you think I managed it?
Hat; La Redoute, Black Marl Hat. £13
Jumper Dress; La Redoute, R Edition Jumper Dress. £24
Black Riding Boots; La Redoute Patent Look Riding Boots. £41
Bag; La Redoute Faux Snakeskin Bag, R Edition. £19
So here is the reasoning behind my purchases.
A hat, it's a no-brainer. I refuse to have a cold head in the winter. and it means that even on a bad hair day I can still look stylish. I adore jumper dresses, they are my go to winter outfit, with thick tights and boots. Let us talk about the BOOOOOOOTS, I have fat calves, finding boots that fit is a battle that usually I don't win but these boots have elasticated sides and they are flat. Christmas markets are NO place for heels. Flat boots are comfortable and stylish. Heels have their place, but not here. The bag. Now if you do a christmas market RIGHT, you are going to have lots of bags, I like to have a small bag that can contain my cash and thats about it. Everything else will be tucked in one of my MANY other bags that I will have at the end of the day.
Do you think I made good choices? What would you wear to go to a Christmas Market?
Let me know.
